Loan of beach wheelchair (Tiralo) for people with reduced mobility

The commune of Samoëns provides a beach wheelchair (Tiralo) to enable people with reduced mobility to enjoy swimming at Lac aux Dames. Available free of charge on request from the lifeguard post in the supervised area.

The commune of Samoëns has strengthened its commitment to accessibility with the acquisition of a wheelchair specially adapted to the beach and swimming. Tested for the first time by lifeguards in the presence of the fire department, this innovative equipment facilitates access to the water for people with reduced mobility.

Offered free of charge to users, it can be borrowed on request from the first-aid post at the Lac aux Dames supervised swimming area. This initiative is part of a concrete move to make leisure and tourism accessible to all, guaranteeing greater independence and comfort for those concerned.
