Walking itinerary: Discover the village of Samoëns via Les Moulins and Les Pleignes

Discover the highlights of Samoëns village, as well as the hamlets of Les Moulins and Les Pleignes, on an idyllic stroll.

Departure: Samoëns Tourist Office Caution: in wet or humid weather, this walk can be muddy and slippery. Leave from the Samoëns Tourist Office and walk along Avenue Cognacq-Jaÿ (avenue de la pharmacie) to discover the village of Samoëns, its shopping streets and historic village square. Then join the hamlet of Les Moulins, and gain a little altitude as you reach the hamlet of Les Pleignes (note that a section of path in the forest is quite steep, for 100 meters only). Then return to the village along the ramparts of the Alpine Botanical Garden. Finish the walk by returning to the Samoëns Tourist Office via Grande Rue and Rue des Glaciers.
