Verticale de Pertuiset

Ascent to the paragliding launch from which the discipline's forerunners took off in 1978. The route passes through the village of Mieussy, follows a paved path through the forest before reaching the vast alpine pastures of Platière and Pertuiset.

The view of Le Môle, Les Aravis and Mont Blanc is breathtaking.

From the Salle des Fêtes, head up towards the church.
1/ Near the Town Hall, take rue du Parapente and then the small street to the left of the Hôtel Restaurant "L'Accueil Savoyard".
2/ Opposite the church entrance, turn left to join the road behind the church.
3/ Continue straight ahead until you reach Chapelle St Grat.
4/ At the chapel, continue towards Roche Pallud / Sommand.
5/ At Roche Pallud d'en Haut, turn right onto the clearly visible path through the mountain pasture towards Pertuiset.
