Plateau de Sommand

From the big car park in Sommand, you’ll have a superb view of the Sommand plateau on this short loop.

You’ll be walking close to the bottom of the main slopes and the departure of the Alpine skiing and cross-country skiing slopes. Farquet Loop is a great itinerary to get started on snowshoes. A breath-taking view of Haut Fleury, Haute Pointe, Pertuiset, Rovagne, Chavasse, etc. All the surrounding peaks are watching over Sommand!
