Ivoray - Sur le Mont

From Mieussy, this is an easy nature and discovery walk through the remarkable village of Ivoray, with its impressive farms and the hilltop hamlet of Sur le Mont with some beautifully restored farms.

From the Pont du Diable car park, follow signs for Ivoray until you reach Bieully east. Carry on towards Ivoray until you reach the village. When you leave the village, take a narrow path to Les Rouges, turn left and carry on as far as the hamlet of Bois Gervaz. Follow the footpath and then the road to Sur le Mont, then into the forest along a steep footpath that leads up to the border between the Arve Valley and Giffre Valley. Follow the forest clearing across a field until you reach the Chalets de La Biolle. Take the first path on the left that leads back down to Bois Gervaz. Follow signs to Pont du Diable back to the car park.
