Ecotrail Praz de Lys Sommand - 20 km

A route over varied terrain, taking in some of the best views of the Praz de Lys Sommand resort.

On the Plateau de Sommand, cross the large parking lot, turn left around the Le Refuge restaurant, then follow the path into the forest.
1/ After 1.5 km in the forest, the path leads to a carriage road. Turn left on this track, then right towards Pertuiset take-off.
2/ At the historic Pertuiset take-off, turn left, passing 3 chalets, then right behind the last one. Pass close to the pylon of a ski lift, then continue towards the ridge and the Pointe de Perret.
3/ At the Pointe de Perret, continue right along the ridge towards the Pic de Marcelly. Skirt the Pic on its north face, then descend towards Planey.
4/ At the Planey viewpoint, descend to the left, then at the Petit Planey parking lot, turn right towards Le Pontet / Taninges.
5/ At Le Pontet, take the paved road towards the center of Le Praz de Lys.
6/ Turn right and cross the road to reach the resort center, skirting the Chevaly double ski lift.
7/ On the road, just after the resort center, turn right onto the wide track leading down to the Praz l'Évêque woods. At the Véran chairlift, head left up to Les Molliettes (via the Haut-Fleury chairlift parking lot).
8/ At the end of the large Les Molliettes parking lot, turn left towards Brésy, then twice right along the wide path towards Combe de Gron and Lac de Roy.
9/ Pass close to the Chalets de Roy, skirt the lake on the right and continue straight on to the Chalet de Véran.
10/ Turn left on the ski slope. At the Col de Sommand, go downhill for 2 km to the Chemin de Farquet, then turn left onto the carriage road leading to the Parking de Sommand. You've arrived!
