Crossing the Ramaz from Sommand

This loop itinerary is ideal for exploring the two opposite sides of the Praz de Lys Sommand ski resort.

Plan for a full-day’s outing with a picnic or a Savoyard meal at one of the resort’s many restaurants.

Exceptional views. Take to the heights! Up at the Col de la Ramaz, at an altitude of 1,619 m, admire the sheer beauty all around you: the Alps mountain chain stretches before you. There are not many places in the Haute-Savoie that offer a view of the mountains like this one! You won’t regret it.
