On the road to the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval, don't hesitate to stop and admire the Tines Gorges and visit the village of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, before finally arriving at the biggest mountain corrie in the Alps, the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval.
We recommend an optional extra from the village of Sixt Fer à Cheval: continue to the Rouget waterfall, the "Queen of the Alps". It's well worth the effort!
