2-day hike to the Sales refuge - Stage 2

This second stage takes you back to your parking lot and starting point, the Lignon parking lot. The return journey takes the same route as the outward journey, giving you another opportunity to enjoy the waterfalls and panoramic views this route has to offer.

Starting from the Sales refuge, enjoy one last time the panoramic views and the peace and quiet this place has to offer.

Follow the same path as the day before to reach the Le Lignon parking lot. You'll pass by the many waterfalls and resurgences you saw on the first stage, giving you one last opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Sixt-Passy Nature Reserve.

On arrival at the Lignon parking lot, take the opportunity to stop off at the Rouget waterfall, also known as the "Queen of the Alps".

1/ From the Refuge de Sales, return to your starting point by the same route as the outward journey, following the signs for "Le Lignon (Parking)". You will pass the following signposts: "Chapelle de Sales" and "Cascades de la Pleureuse et de la Sauffaz".
