2-day hike to discover the Lac des Chambres - Stage 1

This first sporting stage will take you to one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Haute-Savoie: Lac des Chambres.

This first sporting stage begins with an ascent through the forest to the Folly refuge.

Once at the Folly refuge, admire the view over the Giffre valley, the Pointe du Tuet, the Oddaz mountain, the Pointe de la Golette and the Pointe Rousse. Then continue your ascent to Lac des Chambres, an alpine lake fed by a glacier.

Once you've reached the Lac des Chambres, take a leisurely descent to the Refuge du Folly, where you can enjoy the sunset.

1/ From the "Le pied du Crêt" parking lot, always follow the signs for "Lac des Chambres". You will pass the following signposts: "Croisement du Tuet", "Pont des Barmes", "Refuge de Folly".
2/ Arrival at Lac des Chambres. Follow the same route back to the Refuge de Folly.
