Half-day tour:

After a lovely family hike led by Jean Charles—lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes and starting in Samoëns—discover the craft of weaving with Sylvie in an old alpine chalet in the hills above Samoëns.

Jean Charles will be your guide. A native of Samoëns, a forester, and an active member of the local community, he knows the natural world, the region, its history, and its stories inside and out—and loves to share them.

Sylvie weaves wool on a traditional loom and creates unique, high-quality pieces. Throws, scarves, pillows, rugs… her creations are made from pure alpaca, merino, or local wool.

You’ll be treated to a drink and a local specialty before returning to the village.

Departure from the kiosk at the base of the Grand Massif Express gondola or from your accommodation in Samoëns for groups.
