Introduction:
Centuries ago, the Frahans (stone masons) discovered that the Giffre was not just a capricious river, but a vein of raw energy. To protect the valley from devastating floods, they built the Grand Régulateur, a monumental machine hidden within the mountain that uses the vibrations of the Echo Stones to calm the raging waters. But the balance has been broken. Looters have attempted to seize the mechanism, shattering the sacred alignment. Eight Echo Stones have been scattered along the Giffre. Without them, the Regulator roars ominously, and the river threatens to overflow. The fate of the valley lies in your hands. You must explore the banks of the Giffre, decipher the clues left by the ancient Frahans, and recover the eight missing Echo Stones. Only by reuniting them can you stabilize the mechanism before it’s too late.
