Skiing for the disabled
Description
Ski even if you are disabled! Our specially-trained instructors are on hand with specially adapted equipment provided through the Samoëns Handi-Glisse Association.
It is now possible for non-skiers to discover the slopes, the magnificent views and the pleasure of gliding through the snow, all this whilst sitting back comfortably in a chair skied by a registered instructor. This service enables non- skiers to join in on a family or group outing. The sessions last a minimum of 2 consecutive hours and are charged at the same price as private lessons. It is also possible to book a ‘VIP Session’ and take a half or full day trip. This service needs to be booked and organised in advance. Contact the ESF in Samoëns, which will put you in touch with the relevant instructors. They will prepare the necessary equipment and advise you on the best form of tuition (allow time to organise the lessons).
