Description

One week introduction to horses and the equestrian environment (horse care, games, balance etc.) Barbecue Friday lunchtime.

Precise programme depends on level and progress of participant.
1ST DAY: approaching your pony, grooming tools, basic grooming, fitting a rug and saddle, mounting, cueing horse to walk, stopping and starting.
2ND DAY: full grooming, tacking up, improving seated balance, trotting, changing direction etc.
3RD DAY: changing direction, slalom, walking and trotting games, rising trot etc.
4TH DAY: balancing on stirrups when walking and trotting, cueing to trot, stopping, transitioning to a walk, obstacle clearance, games etc.
5TH DAY: obstacles when walking and trotting, learning to gallop, games, a trek etc.

Child: 192 € (5-day course from Monday to Friday every morning from 10am to 12pm.).
