Introduction to paragliding

Do you dream of being your own boss? Then this course is for you! During this course, you'll learn the fundamentals of paraglider piloting and enjoy your first solo flight with complete peace of mind!

On the program: Educational tandem flights : - Positioning in the harness - Heading, drift correction - Change of direction (90°, 180°, 360°) - First approaches to roll and pitch control - PTU and PTS/8 circuits - Landing management Ground work : - Getting to know the equipment as a whole - Canopy inflation and control - Front and back inflation techniques First radio-guided solo flights: - Back launch management (inflation, tempo, trajectory control, acceleration) - Heading in flight, drift correction - Alternating and linking changes of direction - PTU landing circuit Management of wing movements in flight : - Face launch management (inflation, tempo, turn, control, acceleration) - Roll exercise - Pitch exercise - Piloting in the harness - Landing circuit in PTS/8 Theory lessons : - Basic flight mechanics - Approach and landing circuits - Basic aerology - Training on the use of the reserve parachute To take this course, you will need : - A medical certificate less than 1 month old stating "no contraindication to paragliding". - Good footwear (hiking boots) - Warm clothing (windproof) - sunglasses - Small gloves
