Grandes Platières picnic area

A picnic area offering a 360° view of Mont Blanc, the Aravis peaks, Belledonne, and the Jura.

Located right at the top station of the Grandes Platières gondola, this picnic area undoubtedly offers one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps. A stop along several hiking routes, it’s the perfect place to take a break and recharge.

Free entry but transport fee applies. If you choose to go up via the gondolas, please have a pedestrian pass (round trip). It is available for purchase directly at the ticket offices, at the base of the gondolas.
