Cross-country paragliding course

Set off in search of new horizons coached by Erwan Didriche, whose reputation in competitive long-distance flying is well established!

You'll refine your analysis of the air mass and your routes to optimize your flights and swallow up the miles across the sky!

Level required: Brevet de Pilote

Program:

Level 1 :

• Checking pilot know-how in thermals and dynamics
• Theoretical and practical training on anticipating the flight plan as the flight progresses
• Managing landing decisions
• Flight performance optimization
• 2-hour flights (depending on weather conditions)

Level 2 :

• Topographic map reading, route selection according to weather forecasts
• Time management in flight
• Anticipation of weather conditions on the route - Optimization of flight position, gas pedal and wing control
• Flights of 3 to 4 hours (depending on weather conditions)

Level 3 :

• Know how to analyze the aerology on the ground and in flight to optimize the course.
• Make your own decisions
• Work on endurance in flight and manage your demons
• Flights of over 4 hours (depending on weather conditions)

To take part in this course, you'll need :

• A valid FFVL license
• Vario and GPS
• Radio
• Cell phone
