Installed in 2025 in Samoëns, the Clévieux footbridge is a pedestrian structure crossing the Clévieux, a tributary of the Giffre. Built by Pegorier Charpente, it offers a fine view of Le Criou, an emblematic mountain with a triangular silhouette.
The Clévieux footbridge crosses the Clévieux, a tributary of the Giffre, and ensures the continuity of pedestrian paths along its banks. It plays a key role in improving the village's living environment and promoting soft mobility.
The project was designed and built by Pegorier Charpente, a local company established in 2004 at the entrance to Samoëns, specializing in carpentry and joinery in the Giffre valley and beyond. Made of wood, the footbridge combines durability, architectural simplicity and landscape integration.
In addition to its function as a link, the structure is a veritable belvedere, offering a remarkable view of Le Criou, the emblematic mountain of Samoëns, recognizable by its triangular shape. A popular place for strolling, it's also a great spot to take a photo or a selfie, with friends or family.
