And what a river it is... The Giffre! It rises in the heart of the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval nature reserve... A natural river that can only be discovered in its entirety by boat.

The airboat (inflatable kayak) is our smallest craft. And it's the one that will give you the most thrills! Closer to the water, closer to nature and its power... Come and experience yours!

At the start of the activity, you'll receive an important briefing from your guide: river reading keys, safety instructions and navigation techniques - everything you need to set off with confidence. Your guide will also be at your side throughout the descent to show you the trajectories to take and ensure your safety.

Depending on navigation conditions, you'll have the chance to enjoy a unique experience: crossing the Gorges de Tines! Look up and admire the 30 m of cliff all around you! Surprises all along the way, from Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval to Samoëns: 7 km, a feast for your senses, perhaps a few aches and pains, and guaranteed memories!

In early season, when the entire route is not accessible by airboat, we offer a "multi-sport" route. Passage of the gorges is by raft, with the guide steering the boat and the rest of the trip by airboat.
