Description

During this course, Les Hirondailes paragliding school will give you the latest theoretical and practical information.
The aim is to make you feel at ease with the air mass, to recognize aerological traps, to know how to pilot your wing safely in a thermal and to exploit it to extend your flight serenely. At the end of this course, you'll be able to fly in total autonomy on any paragliding site and pass your Brevet de Pilote! Level required: Brevet de pilote Initial Program: Managing the asymmetric collapse : - Activating the asymmetric collapse - Heading management - Reopening management - After exercise, end of flights in complete autonomy 360° descent: - Putting the 360° into action - Tilt and rotation speed management - Acceleration control - Management of 360° exit with slow energy dissipation - After exercise, end of flights in complete autonomy Flying and operating in a variety of aerological conditions: - Managing dynamic flight - Thermal flight management (introduction to operation) - Use of the gas pedal Flights on different sites: - Autonomous assessment of a new site (aerological traps, take-off, flight plan, landing) - Managing landings in the countryside (outside known sites) - Landing accuracy Theoretical courses : - More in-depth aerology - Local and global meteorology - Theoretical research on thermals - In-depth study of aviation regulations - Preparation for the pilot's license theory exam To take this course, you will need : - A medical certificate less than 1 month old stating that you have no contraindications to paragliding, or a valid FFVL license. - Good footwear (hiking boots) - Warm clothing (windproof) - Sunglasses - Small gloves
