Le Marmotte is a semi-detached chalet of typical Savoyard construction. Its geographical location allows you to go skiing or hiking & enjoy the many activities of the village of Samoëns in a few minutes while being quiet within the hamlet of Etelley which gives it tranquility and breathtaking views of the Criou & the peaks dominating the Giffre Valley. Set back from the road, it is very safe for children or small pets. The interior layout lends itself perfectly to accommodating 2 or 3 families. Chalet Marmotte, classified as a “4-star furnished tourist accommodation”, is composed as follows: - Ground floor: Entrance, bedroom #1 (double bed), bedroom #2 (without window, 2 single beds), 1 bathroom + toilet communicating with the 2 bedrooms, 1 laundry room (with washing machine + dryer), storage room ski/bike - 1st floor: Hallway, separate toilet, master bedroom #3 (double bed) with bathroom + private toilet, living room with stove, fully equipped kitchen, dining room with double terrace access - 2nd floor: Mezzanine (2 single beds), bedroom #4 (double bed), family room #5 (double bed + bunk bed), 1 large bathroom + toilet - Terrace of >60 m2, lounge area with magnificent view of the Criou & 6-seater therapeutic spa We provide you with numerous DVDs & BlueRays (for all ages), large flat screen TV as well as a PlayStation 3, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Canal+ but also many board games, books, a station iPod, CDs & wifi throughout the chalet. For dinners with family or friends, you will find Raclette & Fondue machines. Possibility of half board. For skiing, the Chalet is +/- equidistant from the 3 cable cars giving access to the Grand Massif (265 km).
