Perched at an altitude of 1750 metres, like a refuge, Chalet de Mapellet immerses you between ridges and mountain pastures, in the heart of a protected natural area. This rare setting, with its bird's-eye view, offers you calm, disconnection, beauty and freedom. Isolated, you can enjoy the silence of the surroundings and the splendor of the mountains. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts will find it an ideal playground. The "La Bourgeoise" spot, 350 metres above the chalet, offers an exceptional view of Mont Blanc. A former vacation camp that has been completely renovated, the chalet is a luxurious 160 m2 cocoon. The authentic materials of stone and old wood have given it a simple charm and a warm soul. Self-sufficient in electricity and supplied with water by a spring, the chalet is a school of sobriety and an opportunity to live in the midst of nature thanks to the elements. Situated close to the legendary Col de Joux Plane (stage of the Tour de France), the chalet is accessible by car in summer (5 min) and snowshoes in winter (15 min). The complete autonomy and unique location of this atypical alpine chalet will give you the feeling of being withdrawn from the world. # 1. THE CHALET The first floor is a huge living space: open-plan kitchen, dining room with a large convivial solid wood table, and a spacious lounge around a huge central fireplace. A beautiful wooden staircase leads up to the first floor, where you'll find a master bedroom, a 7-person dormitory and a rock-cut bathroom with shower. AROUND THE CHALET Numerous hikes from the chalet, on foot or by mountain bike Col de Joux Plane (ideal for road biking in summer, with 2 ascents from Samoëns and Morzine, and cross-country skiing in winter) "La Bourgeoise", with its extraordinary view of the Mont-Blanc chain, a 10-minute walk above the chalet.
